To what extent is a woman having a baby is putting a man in a position he doesn't want to be in....seeing that she's carrying the child.

I don't know. If he doesn't want to be the father he'd best end the relationship. Sure he'd have to pay child support but he doesn't have to raise someone he doesn't love or want for 18 years.
