I graduated younger than most. There wasn't a prom but a ceremony was held during which they gifted the top students of excellent scores: televisions, computers and trips to other countries.
Everyone's parents were present except mine.
It was national. There were only two other females.
I got to shake Abdelaziz Bouteflika's Hands, the Algerian president. And had a hug from some woman that smelt of sweat.

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit I think the greatest journey there is would be striving to let love flow through us instead of pain, anger and hatred. It is more than an achievement. I see it in you.
It took me a long time to start freeing myself from my past. But I am doing it and that is something to be proud of ❤ with the help of many even the smallest gestures.

Yes, I went to both.
My junior prom I went with my guy best friend at the time as a date but we still tagged along with our friend group. We all took pictures together, went to a fancy place to eat, prom and then did lazor tag afterwards.
My senior prom went with the same group of friends just no date we did the same thing basically except instead of lazor tag we watched a movie afterward.
I enjoyed them both but stuff like that is important to me still is for memories and to look back on.

No, neither my junior nor senior prom. I asked out sev eral girls to each, but they all told me that they already had dates, I didn't go since I didn't want to go alone. Then, afterwards, I found out that the girls who told me they already had dates all went alone, themselves. 😥

Well I went with a friend another friend and her boyfriend. We were at the dance for maybe an hour. Left to drink in his backseat. My one friend had sex in the hood of the car while we waited in the car. The other friend drunk now tried to make out with me. That was prom night
