How can I change this?

I'm very shy and pretty quiet with my boyfriend. We've only been together about a month. He stares at me a lot. When he stares I don't know what to do and I feel awkward. But I'm just so awkward I'm just silent not knowing what to say.. and it makes me look like a dumb bish.
