When I am using an alias, that is what I tell people. I don't want some stranger knowing my real name and connecting with everyone in my real family, so that part remains separate.

@celine211 It means you are using a different name, thats all. It can go so far as to create a different email address, different facebook page, different everything. Depends on your commitment level.
