I get a really bad vibe from shrines and my boyfriends using one every morning atm because he's with his Hindu family and it just sends shivers down my spine. 🤷🏻♀️

@Itsprincess However if you two make a commitment to each other religion will come into play and he will want to follow his family tradition just as you will want to follow your family tradition.
@hippyjoe1955 his family (mum and dad and sister) believe in Jainism which I like but hinduism I'm not keen on and that's the families he's staying at rn (uncle and aunt). Ain't nobody gonna make me worship that elephant. But yeah I understand but it's more than a tradition to me it's not what I believe in
@Itsprincess I understand completely. Just over the years of dealing with people with broken relationships it is often caused when one partner decides to become a serious follower of a religion (often the one they were brought up in) and the other partner doesn't share the belief or likewise wants to get serious about the tradition it grew up in.
