Do you believe that having more women in political leadership will reduce poverty ?

@NerdyNudist Why not ?
@SW-User I don't find any reason to believe that sex has anything to do with the ability to reduce poverty. Data seems to show the spread of freer markets and capitalism has caused global poverty to plummet. If it can be shown that women are more likely to adopt those principles then I'd say yes.

I downloaded the original paper they copied the statistics from. It doesn't indicate a causual relationship between decrease in poverty and capitalism. Because the studied countries still have regulations prohibiting a fully capitalistic economy and the changes can be attributed just as much to active international associations aiming to fund economic growth.
@Miram No country has a fully pure type of any economy.

Some lean towards capitalism and free markets more than others including yours. Do you consider Tunisia, Nigeria, Mali, Morroco capitalist countries? If not why would one assume capitalism has to do with their poverty rates?

The studied countries have regulated markets. The major cooperations are governmental espacially if we are talking about Africa.
