Would you work more hours at work if you don't CURRENTLY need extra money?

I'd like to move out next year but it probably won't happen simply because I graduate in May and probably won't get a good job until I have a degree. That being said, I don't see a real point in myself working extra hours for a while (until school starts back) because I don't have anything to do with it. If I have more money, I'm gonna buy more things, which I don't need, more junk food etc.

So, would you work extra hours if you didn't particularly need extra money NOW? Sure something could come up but the question remains..

It's always good to have something to fall back on in case of an emergency. I guess the answer for me would depend on my energy levels and what other things I would have to do during the week.

@cherokeepatti right. I only have one month out of school. I usually go to school a couple days a week, and do homework and things through the week. Then work 8 hour days on weekends and repeat. This is the only time I get a break and I'm trying to see if I want to spend it working extra hours. I'm enjoying waking up with nothing that NEEDS accomplishing

@cherokeepatti I really do. I've done absolutely nothing this first week. Need to make plans
