is there a site that generates positive quotes or something similar to that? maybe something that i can subscribe to and get positive emails and encouragement to move forward

very true about the negativity here, that's why i took a year break from this site. not everyone here is a bad person and i want to give this site another try (i do my best not to give up on something or someone unless there's nothing for me to stay for). i've run into trolls and horrible people, but got to take the good with the bad. i don't want depression to eat me up and i don't want to become a bitter person. there's still love in my damaged heart and i want to see the world is still worth it, i just need something to keep me going
