Alarm won't shut off by itself and I set the alarm on the cook stove so I have to get up and walk to the kitchen to do it.
@cherokeepatti Ha, I need that. I have the habit of pressing my snooze button until I'm late
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@SelfProclaimedGangster It keeps going and the birds start chirping, then I have to get up.
Life. The gratitude that I am still alive and able to enjoy it.

If before it was cigarettes, now it is COFFEE.

@SelfProclaimedGangster I've always loved coffee, even way before I started smoking. It's just that I became a chain smoker. And like smoking was my first thought in the morning and my last thought in the evening. It was also the first and last thing I do, each day. Coffee is really just a staple in my life. :)
@Aphrodeity have you tried weed? I'm currently struggling with quitting cigarettes haha
Aphrodeity · F
@SelfProclaimedGangster Nope! never tried weed or drugs. Just cigarettes. Different kinds of cigarettes. 😂 It's funny, I mean, I'm the type of person who never wants to be controlled. I knew my family didn't like the thought of me smoking but they know better than to bribe or threaten me into stopping. Honestly, I just kind of exhausted the happiness, the satisfaction, in smoking and I did notice the marked change in my over all appearance, especially my skin. And of course, at first the threat of going through a hard time really did pull me back from stopping. But meh, it kinda just fixed itself up, the moment I decided to stop. For one thing, I quit my job and It doesn't sit well with me, asking others, just to maintain my vice. So, there. :) I hope you'll push through with quitting, no matter what the cost and struggle. It's definitely worth it.
It's morning. I wake up very early and take my time to get ready and just appreciate the morning and grateful that I slept well. :)

well i do it to survive. not to live.
Usually gasping for air after choking on saliva as I snore in my sleep...!!
@Majorlatency Have you ever considered trying snoring strips? Not sure if they work, but maybe it'd be worth the try considering how unpleasant it is to be waking up like that!
@SelfProclaimedGangster It's o.k. I was just painting a picture with words..I don't snore, I usually sleep like a baby, I drool and shit myself!
That I haven't died in my sleep.☺
