I have a friend who's a very kind person. I sort of had this compulsion to ask her out for prom because of her "inner beauty", but I'm also so obsessed with outer beauty that I couldn't get over the fact that she was kinda fat. I ended up sort of ignoring her throughout the school year because I couldn't deal with my feelings. Now I see she wears a lot of makeup that makes her look really pretty, and it's making me really regret what I did to her.
