How would you feel about the company you work for if they...

...forced an apology from or pressured the resignation of a Human Resources Director or Manager, that happens to be a white male who openly gave the opinion that a group of black woman can be diverse or bring diversity to the company?

Real question. Don't come at me with insults and accusations, please. I'm curious about how people would take this.

What kind of diversity? Racial/ethnic? I thought there was a minimum requirement for this kind of diversity.

@LucyCan Any, let your imagination be your guide.

@quietlitany Idk. If they're selling stuff to an unexplored black women market maybe he has a point- provided employing black women aids sales.

@LucyCan What if the company said they disagreed with his opinion and he was pressured to resign?

@quietlitany Maybe they thought he wasn't capable of rational thought, was overstepping his bounds, and was implying discriminatory practices. Who knows? There's very little to go on here.

@LucyCan Diversity is a hiring issue in the US and UK. If you've ever held an office job you'd have heard about it, especially in a large corperation. I'm just curious what people would think if their H/R got forced to apologize for thinking black women are a diverse group (in a valued/positive context) and that caused a controversy, implying black women are not a diverse group and do not represent diversity as understood by H/R practices in the US and UK.
