To me, it’s better than former years. You can just chill, and you see that life isn’t all that serious to get all upset about, so don’t sweat it. You don’t have the hassles you did when you were younger and have a lot less responsibility to where you can just go out and enjoy life and your not on a time schedule, and you have so much more patience and insight about life, and really treasure what you have, and each day you’re alive, and don’t have to impress anyone (not that I did) but I’m saying you’re not self-conscious about things or insecure anymore, and you could care less what people think of you or what they say about you. It just doesn’t matter!! You accept yourself just as you are. Material things don’t matter, make-up doesn’t matter 😂😂...you just are free to be yourself and that is a wonderful thing. I wish I had realized all that all my life. You see what’s worth fighting for and what is not. You do what you want and you don’t care who likes it or not. The funny thing is, younger people think you’re so feeble and unable to help or think for yourself, and they do a lot of nice things for you. ha ha ha ha The senior discounts are good, and people cook for you and open doors. 😆 I never take advantage, but when it happens, it’s nice. Time has stopped and you can do anything you want to do, and as long as you want to, like staying up all hours of the night watching movies, and a great part, you can eat and sleep any time you want. Plus, go anywhere you want. It’s freedom. A wonderful thing.

@LadyGrace Oh I believe it is. I can't wait for some freedom. My mom told me that too; the older you get, the less you care.
@rosyhills She’s so right.
