Yes. I feel a lot of people these days abuse the phrase to the point it paints actual feminist in a negative light however.

I was bisexual but the more girls Rant bout "the patriarchy" the less I want to have relationships with them its not a deal breaker unless its REALLY far but its still a turn off and plus Its easier to feel like my boyfriend is my best friend when can sit back and shoot stuff either virtual or real.

@cicadahan Did your father teach you to think that you’re of less worth than a man ? Sure sounds like it.

Parts of it. I would consider myself a feminist.

It can't be denied that there are flawed beliefs and ideas within feminism as there are in any idealogy. There are as many versions of feminism as there are feminists. I think the negative feminists with harmful beliefs should be addressed beyond saying "I'm not that kind of feminist".

Totally agree. Like somehow me holding the door open for a woman tells her she’s incapable. No it’s just means I was raised to appreciate a woman.

Sure, why not?

@CrusaderAztecheart More prone to physical hardship? I think any mother has endured more pain than any man. Second, stop the comparisons to men ....

@CrusaderAztecheart And yet the people leading most “civilized” countries are not those who are physically strongest, would you agree with that ? Young athletes are not the people in government.

I believe in equality for everybody but for the most part, in America, we already have it.

What's your definition of feminism, if it's fine with me asking?

@cicadahan I ask because feminism has its own connotative meaning across different ears. When someone says that they don't believe in feminism, I'm not sure about which definition they're speaking about. Soooo, this is all pretty unclear to me :/

Me neither seeing as now there is not a single right a man has that a woman does not have. Unless of course we're talking about countries other than America.
I do, and I appreciate the things it made possible for me, from the suffragettes on forward.

It's one of those things where there's a world of difference between theory and practice. So yes and no
