Yikes. I think recurrent dreams especially suggest that your unconscious mind is attempting to tell you something important. If you can find out what it is, then you can simply consciously recognize and accept it, which may stop the nightmares.

Alternatively, you could learn how to lucid dream [which is scientific fact: awareness and control within a dream--endless possibilities] and just outright ask the animals why they are devouring you. It's likely they will turn sheepish and tell you what the issue is.

I've had success with both methods, personally. For a couple years, I had nightly nightmares. Killed extremely realistically, and ridiculously painfully every. single. night. I don't think I've even had a nightmare since practicing both.

@Tatsumi what was the problem for you? what was causing your nightmares?
Tatsumi · 31-35, M
@SW-User I would prefer not to think about it.

@Tatsumi but its interesting to know. Since you claim you can talk to animals in the dream

@SW-User You're welcome. And I still don't want to talk about it, dude. It's personal. Drop it. We can talk about anything else. If you have any questions about lucid dreaming, I'd be glad to offer whatever advice or my experiences I can give.

@Tatsumi Can you use your android in the dream?
Can you fly? what happens if someone comes at you with a knife, when you get stab - what happens?
Can you "do it" in the dream?
Tatsumi · 31-35, M
@SW-User Mm. I'm not sure. Never tried it and haven't read anything about it. A dream might be too unstable for using a smartphone with any degree of practicality.

You can definitely fly. One of the easiest things to do. Flying is a good first thing to try to do.

Not sure on that. Really depends on a lot of factors. It could range from unbearable agony to unbearable pleasure.

You can do "it" in a lucid dream, but it's kind of a waste to try. At least when you're starting out. And even after, lucid dreaming can be used for a lot deeper and more meaningful things. But sure, you can. It's difficult, however, because to maintain a lucid dream, you have to repress excitement. If you get too excited, you'll wake yourself up. You have to stay in a very calm state.
