@Cutiepi23 @Barelygettingby Well it originally was the Bull and Finch. Then someone bought the bar and renamed it Cheers.

So while Cheers was on TV, the place on which it was based was the Bull and Finch.

The Cheers you see now, is in the same place as the Bull and Finch, it just changed hands and had a makeover.

@HoraceGreenley is the pub still there that the TV show is based on? Just wondering my cousin is just back and had his photo taken outside the fake Cheers.

@Cutiepi23 Well it's the same place. It just doesn't look like it did back in the 80's

@Barelygettingby Well the Bull and Finch looked a little like the Cheers on TV. But the Bull and Finch did not have as much room, and the ceilings were really low. It was dark too. Lots of wood paneling. It was cozy. But too small and dark for a TV set.

The new Cheers is totally different.
