The negative shit people put out is rarely personal

hi coldchild
wow that is clever and true.
I sometimes think we are not even personal in ourselves. I mean we are barely conscious of what we are doing or thinking never mind anyone else.
Best wishes

@sogdianrock we distance ourselves from parts of ourselves that we think are bad..it just comes out in the form of judgement of those around us that display the same traits we despise.

hi coldchild
wow you are a guru!
I will wrote that down.
That is deep but weird. I mean do we dislike rudeness say because we are rude or suppress being rude? Is that bad? Thinking about thinking is hard!

@sogdianrock it's a jungian concept. I guess if we get very angry about certain things it could be that we work very hard in ourselves to avoid displaying such traits..seeing others being so unreserved is bound to be annoying.

I have heard of Jung. He thought we have inherited memories?
We just annoy the hell out of each all of the time?
Best wishes

@sogdianrock I think the inherited memory thing has been proven, there's a proper term for it which escapes me right now. They tested animals by spiking certain foods to make them sick, they then continued to breed the animals finding that the children and grandchildren were born with aversions to the foods used in the experiment.

There is so much though! I have a set of @1900 encyclopaedias which held the total knowledge of the world at that time - well pretty much. I have not even scratched the surface of them yet!
