I hate gender roles!

Gender roles are the worst. Honestly growing up i always had to have short hair, even though i wanted to grow it out i wasent allowed to. I had to wear certain clothes that i felt uncomfortable in. I hate wearing ties putting one one makes me cringe. I hate how some toys or books or considered either for only boys or only for girls. I was in the middle since i liked playing with cars but i liked collecting stuffed animals which i also slepped with every night. I dont really like labels either i mean i dont care if people call me he or him but i hate people calling me man bro or dude it makes me cringe and feel weird. Id prefer not to label myself.

I felt the same growing up. I always wanted to know how to change my car tire and oil, wanted to mow the lawn, want boy toys, legos, and video games but my parents only taught my brother the manual labor stuff and wouldn't let me play with boy toys. I was made to wear dresses and skirts and do my hair in weird curly styles (which I hated, and still do, with a intense passion. I also really hate how men treat me different than men but truthfully that is somewhat to be expected because a lot of men still see a woman and think sex not friend. For example when im working with a male coworker: A male customer will come in and I will say hi and they ignore me but then they go to the guy to check out and he says hi and the guy responds "Hey whats up man". Even though they aren't friends. Ok, ok I could go on but the thing is while it might not be the same siatuation I understand and feel your frustration😤
