Also, not to mansplain or put a damper on things, but for scientific curiosity/accuracy, the Sun will sterilize Earth in about a billion years, and the solidifying of Earth's core will render it uninhabitable in around 3 billion years, unless any number of cosmic catastrophes from asteroids to gamma ray bursts catches us first (highly likely). I supposed it's fairly safe to say none of us will see it coming (Which, in the case of asteroids and gamma ray bursts, is a problem). The Earth itself will probably exist, in some form, forever unless we live in a cyclic universe. The same cannot be said of humans, of course.
