I'd say a little bit of Eastern philosophy.... the new generation needs to discover a meaning, and purpose for life, and themselves...

A developed heart compliments a developed mind...

And with that, a change of focus I think, away from the more material & fleeting, & more towards meaningful & lasting dreams/goals that could fulfill us indefinitely.

Western philosophy does so much to separate the heart & the mind, even going so far as to belittle the heart & its workings. But Eastern philosophy understands the need for balance, between heart & mind, & furthermore, in everything.
Maybe not in everything... Eastern philosophy helps us see ourselves as a part of a whole, and to be able to keep the whole in order, we need to discover the purpose of the whole, and your part and the interaction...

The other one, in my opinion, is too much involvement of western and recently Eastern human with technology, and that separates the new generation from itself as its abilities, capabilities, and purpose...

I mean look at us, and how much time we spend on SW, without provoking our minds and hearts to discover whatever is there to be discovered...

Yeah, I actually meant what you said in the first paragraph, we need to be able to find our place in every interaction, we have to understand that there are more options than there might appear, & we have to step out on faith sometimes, standing for ourselves & whatever we choose to, with consideration of all concerned.

I think technology does have the effect you described, it disconnects is from many different aspects of ourselves, it disconnects us from others, it disconnects us from the world around us, reality, & history. We become lost, & still more people are becoming lost.
I agree, except for the faith part.... this Isco Ingrid from a non religious person... but someone who has faith, and believes in faith...

Faith is important.

I didn't mean like faith in God, but more like faith in what someone has come to understand & believe, & once they've decided for themselves what it is they believe to be true, to live as though it were true.
I understand what you mean... yes, probably... thank you for the good question... made me think for a change... lol
