the 80's gave us the death of long standing industries and the birth of the ones you use today.
But it certainly wasn't a good time for many of us who went from school leaving age to parenthood in that time.

oh sure, we had the same stuff every generation has in terms of musical trends. Punk; New Wave; New Romantic; Two-Tone; Ska revival etc.Blade Runner; Dirty Dancing; Raiders of the lost ark; Ghostbusters; Scarface; E:T; Star Wars 2(these days referred to as episode 6 ?)
