What steps are you taking to make yourself happier?

rckt148 · 61-69, M
I stopped only looking at the bad in my life and at some of the times I should have died ,
Not just all the heartache ,but also the many blessings
not just the love I had lost (and usually my fault )
but that I was blessed to have had woman who once loved me like that at all
the Children I have and how great they all turned out
the time I had with my family ,and no matter how dysfunctional we were
When someone messed with one of us they messed with us all ,we could fight like cats and dogs but no one else better mess with our family
I learned to forgive ,,I had a lot I needed to be forgiven for ,so I had to learn to forgive also ,,
And I called my family together and confessed my sins
then no on ,and I mean no one ,had anything left to hold over me
Somethings I was ashamed of ,some things a few threw up to me for years later
But when they were asked were they so perfect that none of them ever did stupid stuff ,and things they hoped no one knew about them ,,would they have the guts to confess it and be done with it
And I lost enough times ,and I mean lost everything
that it no longer was a sense of shame for me ,We all fall ,we all make mistakes
at least now I am good at starting over from scratch ,I owe no one
and no one has anything to hold over me
I now have peace of mind
Time really does heal all wounds ,and things that don't kill you make you stronger ,,those sayings haven't been around forever because they sound good
they have been around because people who have gained experience ,can tell you they are true
you can go through life worried your glass is half empty
or be thankful at least its half full
Sometimes our situation is only a state of mind ,
things you call hell may be heaven for me ,I have learned to be thankful for the things I have ,,and quit crying about the baggage I lost

Getting more exercise during the day, especially in the sunlight. Also, meditation

Effeciency & any steps required to achieve that.

@FCNantes Efficiency in anything in particular?

In not wasting time or doing something that isn't the likely best option. For example, when I'm choosing a match I've several criteria* (this criteria may seem inefficient, but I average about a min. deciding which match to watch when there will be several 1s on at the same time; it's usually obvious which match rates highest). Also, this list is relatively accurate in how I lot of decisions are made during my free time: 1. Watch priority match. 2. If not possible, watch non-priority match of a team I support. 3. Listen to Chris and Ciara. 4. If not possible, visit friends. 5. Play football. 6. Play table tennis. 7. Play tennis. 8. Play rugby. 9. Watch live match. 10. Watch my recorded stuff. & so on. I also want to help the world by trying to support human rights, happiness, prevent global warming, decrease plastic rubbish, etc..

*'Priority match' takes priority. If none are on, I'll watch someone/a team I support. If none of them are playing, I'll choose another match. International takes priority over club (or in tennis, anything that isn't Davis Cup, Fed Cup or Hopkins Cup). If there are no international matches I'll use my multipliers (continential competitions takes priority over domestic competitions). I've a multiplier for each sport I watch (based on how much I enjoy each sport), a multiplier on each league (if there's a cup I multiply the multiplier, depending on the round (all matches in the same round of the same cup are given the same importance)) & I use the multipliers to multiply the amount of points a match is worth (wins are worth 2 points & draws are worth 1 (there're exceptions to this). So if the 2 teams's wins & draws add up to 10 wins & 5 draws, the match importance is 25 × by the multipliers). Recent matches are given more points & there're other rules as well.

to do the things that actually makes me happier

@poisonflowers Following God's words, working out, not striving for wealth but for an actual job that I enjoy. Things like that. It takes effort but it does make a person happy.

@poisonflowers I like the goat AVI.
