@SW-User Oh no, I hate that. No more than 2 receipts in my purse and then I'm annoyed.

@SW-User I'm the same, unless it's for something important in which case I put it in a safe p,ace, so safe I can never find it again

@BabyLonia same. The important receipts go in a folder.

@nonsensiclesnail Right, exactly. I have an 2 envelopes with "this months receipts" and "last months receipts" on them and they're empty.

@iamnikki Relatable. Currently all my receipts are jammed into a pocket in my purse, which is otherwise empty, except maybe a little bit of lose change and a few dollars.
What I've switched to is giving myself a daily allowance. How much can be spent every day of the month, after bills, and I keep track of that. Sometimes I keep it in cash, usually I just keep track of my spending on paper or in my head because most of it seems be done online anyhow.

@DeluxedEdition Why a whole year? To total what you've spent for the year?

@iamnikki I mean I guess I just go with new year new me throw everything out start fresh. But that's just me
