Please, America-landers, are there unfair 'stereo-types' for peeps from different US states, and if so, can you share any for an interested UK-lander?

I live in the northwest and we're considered laid back, easy going which I agree with. As for the other states you are correct, all the states have labels which they shouldn't. But then again, I lived in California years ago, and the personalities there were different than from my state. More outgoing, friendlier.
