In reality, the cops don't give a shit about if a teen smokes weed. But they do care a lot about the other things such as murder. It's just what most often happens, and media covers. You never hear "cops arrived too late to the crime scene, teenager had already smoked the weed".

@MartinTheFirst You think the media covers kids being caught smoking weed? I guess if you consider the police blotters the media then are a little right.

@SW-User The weed being what most often happens, and the murder being what the media covers the most. They indulge so much into the murder cases that all tiny flaws will be made into huge deals. Notice the comma.

There is no way to parse that and think that you are referring to the media covering murders. You didn't even mention the word "murder." I don't know why you think that comma changes anything, that is super weird.

If the cops didn't care about kids smoking weed then they wouldn't enforce it. Get the frak out of here with that pig boy fan bullshit.

@MartinTheFirst Aside from me being totally wrong about you using the word "murder," I still really don't see anyway to parse what you said as the media covering murders. I believe you that it is what you meant, so it really doesn't matter how I parse it though, I understand what you were saying now. You are still kind of ignoring the point though, the meme isn't about law enforcement having "flaws" in the murder investigations, it is about the disproportional strength and energy used on people who are easy targets.

@SW-User let's just forget about it :P
