Tucker Carlson is out of Fox News

Kind of suspicious right after the Dominion lawsuit settlement. I wonder if that was part of the deal?

Maybe coz he wants to say the truth whenever he wants to and have a say in his own show...e.g. how it is made and stuff ie that instead of being on the lame fake mainstream lying media! Also made he had enough of the way the mainstream media are.

They lied even when the "news" came out that he was stopping.

@PrincessRoarBuddy Best Answer. thank you!
@akindheart no probs. Thanks for BC

Latest rumors are he wanted to address the Dominion lawsuit on his show and also counter the 60 Minutes narrative on Ray Epps broadcast last night. Management said no and he quit.

FWIW, say stuff YouTube doesn't like and they "de-monetize" you. There are people on there using code words because using the real words for some terms triggers demonetization

@graphite Newsmax could tie his compensation into ratings increases. If he brings a significant increase that would enhance their bottom line and his.

@graphite true. Channels that curse money was taken with no warning

This gives Tucker an opportunity to go elsewhere like NewsMax or some other conservative media outlet. Fox News was losing viewers before this and now they have sealed their own fate. By the way, Don Lemon is out at CNN.

@Barefooter25 i heard that! i refuse to watch Fox News except last night, my friend called and said i had to watch the whistleblower on the Hunter Biden IRS scandal.

Carlson certainly didnt know about this on Friday, which tirned out to be his last show. Sadly I dont think this is a real victory. After all, Rupert is still running things. So this was a commericla decision, not based on ethics of any kind...😷
akindheart · 61-69, F
@whowasthatmaskedman well Paul Ryan, the RINO is on the board. it has slowly been overtaken by libs. this is not surprising BUT Hannity and Ingraham are next
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@akindheart It would be nice to think you are right. But remembering this is Fox, it still means that the message of Carlson and the rest still have an audience. And they are the real problem. Cat food wouldnt sell if there were no cats..😷

Aw that's too bad. I really enjoyed him.
akindheart · 61-69, F
@Magenta me too. the rest should be worried. Hannity and Ingraham
Heartlander · 80-89, M
My guess is that it's unrelated. The immediacy follows the path of Matt Laur, Bill O'Riley, Charlie Rose, etc. Like another bombshell about to drop. Whatever misery he was inflicting on the leftists was probably enhancing Fox viewership.

Another possibility is that advertisers may be shying away from Fox simply because they want to avoid controversy, and the recent Budweiser episode may have sent TV on general to the middle of the road.
akindheart · 61-69, F
@Heartlander you don't get rid of your number one host or program.
FreestyleArt · 36-40, M
Tucker is like an Anchor that keeps the boat staying put. Without it......that Boat go Bye bye.
akindheart · 61-69, F
@FreestyleArt i always watched Hannity but i got so tired of him saying the same things, i could repeat them verbatim. you just don't get rid of your number one host

Keeper · M
No more Bongino or Tucker

Don Lennon got caned at CNN

Maybe a few from The View will be fired. I could only hope
akindheart · 61-69, F
@Keeper I forgot about Bongino. That was last week too. he said they couldn't come to terms. Maybe Tucker and Bongino AND Hannity will join forces
