The US simply demands that Venezuela hold new elections that it can certify as democratic, or face military interventions.

It's all perfectly extra legal, and everyone understands the US position.

What business is it of the US who runs Venezuela? I don't agree with Britain's Starmer but I am not about to launch a military strike to get rid of him.
@hippyjoe1955 international law forbids the USA from interfering here, maybe it's not their "business"- but when a population can't know that and is so doing what its violent leadership wants, we see violence and regime change is everywhere the US right.

@Roundandroundwego I think it would be more advisable to look what the other hand is doing. Venezuela is a distraction. Likely from the Middle East and Ukraine but I repeat myself as that is only one war.
@hippyjoe1955 perhaps. The Gaza genocide will be accomplished. But the Pentagon and the Whitehouse announced that the enemy within the USA is their next focus, the "pivot to the USA" means the military will use US cities as a training ground for invasions.

Venezuela gets four hundred million, so does keeping China out of our information environment, so does the US left within the population, and Argentina gets the same.

And if Venezuela demands the US hold new elections where a criminal and insurrectionist (Trump) is inelgible to run?
