Tulsi Gabbard has left the Democrats.

She said that the democrats are led by a war mongering, racist, woke elite that are seeking to undermine every American's God Given rights as enshrined in the American Constitution.

When / Where did she say that ?

@RodionRomanovitch on her podcast
@RodionRomanovitch She tweeted it as well. It's obviously an attention grabbing thing, and maybe she's just trying to bolster the fox gig, but if she wants to go GOP, this is the perfect time for her to try it.

@MistyCee Given the evil of the modern demoncraps one can only wonder what took her so long
@hippyjoe1955 I think her timing might actually be pretty good, having milked her Democratic affiliations for long enough and being able to seize on the needs of the Republicans who are in desperate need of articulate non crazy female leaders.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@MistyCee Let's be honest for once in your life. The democrat party of JFK no longer exists. The romantic image of a party for the little guy every day American that once was the selling point of the democrats is no longer applicable. Now the democrats are a party of evil, greedy war mongers that are trying to start WW3 all the while destroying the lives of the little guys they once pretended to represent.

@MistyCee

But Misty... Tulsi was the only articulate, non-crazy female politician in the whole Democratic party.
@hippyjoe1955 Ya lost me after the party of JFK doesnt exist and the Dem party shouldn't be romanticized.

There might be some inside the Dem party trying to start WWII, but I'd guess they're a tiny number compared to the numbers inside the GOP trying to start a Civil War, and that latter number is probably overinflated as well.

I think I'm being pretty honest here on this reply. Do you disagree?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@MistyCee So why are you a supporter of such an evil outfit? Serious question.
@Thinkerbell Maybe, but she hasn't contributed much to the party in a long time.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@MistyCee Avoiding my question? We moved on from Tulsi. How about you? Why do you continue to support the evil that is called the democrats?
@hippyjoe1955 Skipping the fact that I don't think it's that much of an "evil outfit", and certainly not compared to the GOP which is all but partnering openly with evil types and letting them run the show, I'm not really much of a Democratic supporter.

I don't give money, and even when I vote for them (which I don't always do), it doesnt really make a difference because of where I live.

Pre-Trump, even though I never changed my registration from when I turned 18 and registering as a Republican would have kept me from voting in any meaningful local primaries, I pretty much thought of myself as an independent, critical, willing to appreciate both parties, and vote for whichever candidate from either party seemed to catch my eye.

2016 changed that, and maybe soured me on Republicans, but it's not just that. If a Democrat supported Trump or voted against his impeachment, I'd hold it against him or her.

Honestly, I get, on some degree, selfishness, nativism, and even what gets called racism by some, but Trump pushed me over the edge in terms of naked and unabashed embrace of anyone who sucked his mushroom, and the cowardice of those who looked the other way or denied what he was doing in terms of promoting his own interests over everything else.

I get that it may make you feel better to call a Biden or Democrat supporter, and practically, at least here on SW, I guess I am, but I'm not shy about why that is, nor am I apologetic about it.
@hippyjoe1955 I think I just tried to address your question, even though Tulsi was the OP issue.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@MistyCee So your only reason for supporting the evil that is the present day demoncraps is because you don't support republicans? Seriously?
@hippyjoe1955 How "seriously" do I really support demoncrats?

I get that I give them more latitude than I do Republicans who have outwardly weighed in on support of Trumpism, but I don't really have a problem with that.

Can you articulate why I should?
" Maybe, but she hasn't contributed much to the party in a long time."
Contributions have to be accepted, and of course the current Democratic party is far too insanely woke to accept much from Tulsi.
