Democrats are always cleaning up Republican messes and reducing the deficit. Obama reduced the record deficit by 2/3 from the Bush Recession in the late 2000s, all the way down to $442 billion. However, Trump septupled it to $3,132 billion, almost three times the previous highest deficit. But with Trump's election loss following his failed term in office, Biden is cleaning up the latest Republican mess and the Trump deficit is decreasing again.
Thank God we have Democrats to clean up after each Republican president.

@checkoutanytime Since revenues exceed expenditures in the new IRA, this should reduce inflation over time. It is a great law in that respect and in beginning to address global climate change.

@checkoutanytime Got it! So you don't want to decrease the deficit, and you don't want to increase the deficit. So you want things to stay exactly the same. That's pretty novel--you don't hear too many people thinking we are in a good place.
