Uncle Joe's a stoner?

I guess he's not going to roll over on a second term after all.

I didn't think Sleepy Joe had it in him to bring the big fight, but maybe he does after all.

Sure, it may seem desperate and even out of character, but, maybe not.

I, not a Biden fan, voted for him to try and bring back civility and dialog, and when is the last time you heard about two guys sharing a joint resorting to violence to resolve differences?

I think this chunk is kind of interesting.

Tricking Republicans into launching a war on marijuana would be some major Dark Brandon energy three weeks before the midterms. But since the Republican platform appears to consist of nothing more than opposing everything coming out of the White House, that’s probably exactly what’s about to shake out.

Not sure if it's true but I like the thinking. About this and many other policies.

This move is just logical. Clearly. But he hasn't exactly embraced decriminalization or legalization. He has supported states making their own laws but that cat has been out of the bag for a while. I do support Biden but on this issue I thing age is really playing a role. The Silent Generation is significantly less likely to support reform. By a wide margin. I've been surprised, given the overwhelming support of federal legalization, that Democrats haven't pushed for this one. A lot of people see policy as existential but this one is something personal for most. And that includes the magiest of the magas.

@Ynotisay The GOP may be doing the right thing here, for once, and staying clear of this issue. Fox has yet to mention the pardons. Their headline today, is that some EVs may be catching on fire in Florida, and they're damned proud of it, because, you know, the LGBTQ, marxist, Islamist, EV driving cabal deserves it. A Fox viewer, from Florida, will not be caught dead using an EV.

@Northwest You're right. Maybe that's why Marjorie Taylor QAnon said that Buttigieg is "emasculating" people by encouraging electric vehicles.

Pete wasn't about to play in the sandbox. And given that FOX actually posted this clip on their You Tube page, maybe they aren't either.

@Ynotisay I love how Pete is always on Fox, debunking their claims. He's in my neighborhood this afternoon, visiting Issaquah, a small town, 10 miles East of Seattle, and home to the Issaquah Salmon Salmon Days (last weekend).

He's here to announce that the first $196 million of a $1 billion fund to replace fish-blocking road culverts is now available and local and tribal conservation departments can apply for grants next fiscal year.

“With this investment, we’re helping protect local economies that count on healthy fisheries and also make key roads less prone to flooding,” from the waters of Pacific Northwest to the lowlands of the Southeast, Buttigieg said in a statement. The culvert fund is first of its kind from the federal government, and a small piece of President Joe Biden’s $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure package.

U.S. Sens. Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell, Reps. Kim Schrier and Rick Larsen and local and tribal leaders are also attending the event. It's 74 and sunny, on Oct 6, something I have not seen in all my years in this area.
@Ynotisay It's weird how conservatives hate EVs, but they worship Elon Musk who made his fortune selling them.
