I sometimes think he gets too caught up in hysteria or group think on some issues
But when he doesn't he'll stick to his principles even on things that are red hot buttons

I think we liberals need to hear why we keep losing elections, and that is Maher's message
@monte3 Bill's good at criticisizing, IMO, be it liberals or Conservatives, but he rarely offers much positive, and when he does, its usually about marijuana, and even that is kind of half hearted. I like the guy, and I like that he plays with controversy, but at the end of the day, he's an entertainer, and all he does is "play."

Most liberals do not fit the excess PC mold. He does have a wide-reaching voice, while. most don't.

He’s a libertarianish moderate more than a liberal, and definitely not a leftist. His views about COVID were often absurd.
