Google stalking feature
I have been planning my trip on an excel sheet, I KNOW, geeky, but I really needed to write down all the details of my whereabouts on the trip, locations, dates, contact number, check out and in time and dates etc.. so that I don't have to go through emails if I needed something ..
Only to discover that google got it all covered! Google has a feature called travel, if you open it, it captures your travel plan from A-z, based on the plane and hotel reservations sent to your email. I was so freaked out when I first saw it, how it has captured everything I am doing, step by step, and even more freaked out when it has showed that I will be in Ottawa last, while I still have not reserved or planned any activities there...!!! 🤷♀️ Then I realised that it captured this information based on my return plane ticket, but at first I was like, WTF!! They know what I am ABOUT TO do..!!
I like it though, even if it seems like stalking.. it is like a timeline that keeps things organised for you, and it is easier to follow than the excel sheet. Still keeping the excel sheet since it has more details that I might need, but at least if I forget where I will be next, I can take a quick look on timeline.
