A craigslist ad has a TV new in the box for sale from a storage unit. Is it a scam?

Since it is a storage unit and the box is factory sealed, there is no way to inspect or test the TV before buying it. It sounds like it could be a perfect scam if someone can reseal a box to look new or if it was dropped and damaged.

What are the chances that it is a scam?
