Pride Month is being used as a marketing scam

Sketchy deals and ripoffs during Pride Month. I saw the same thing last year and the year before. This is just sad, but it was probably inevitable because that’s just the world we live in. At least the FTC are taking it seriously this year and are working with LGBTQ+ consumers in fighting back against fraud.

Of course its a scam. It's a marketing initiative. Now that gay marriage is legal, there are TONS of DINKs in the LBGTQ whatever community and Corporate America is salivating getting some of that disposable income.

Did any of these corporations show any support or concern 15-20 years ago when gay people were fighting for their civil rights?
