I understand many people do not support the use of the death penalty. But this poll is for those who are in support and not in support of the capital punishment. If you are against it and don't want to state a preferred method, don't take the poll.

If done properly, firing squad or hanging is quick. There have been issues with lethal injection, especially when drug comments refuse to see the proper drugs. Gas chamber is not quick, and there have been mishaps with electric chairs. Sad to say, but a firing squad would usually get the job done.

Although traditionally, firing squads were for military personnel and hanging was for criminals. Which is why convicted WWII Nazis were hanged.

@VeronicaJane It needs to be something that leaves no chance of survival. If you hang someone, and save for the rope breaking, if left hanging for atleast 30 minutes, no one is surviving.

@BridgeOvertroubledWaters I have not. I do recall the English hangman who executed Nazis after the Nuremberg trials was criticized. Of course, they weren't sure if he was sloppy, or actually did so on purpose because of their crimes....

With the amount of fentanyl confiscated by authorities each year, considering its power to kill almost instantly, IMO they should use this for lethal injection.

@IM5688 I'm afraid they don't deserve it. They say it's actually a nice death where the person feels very good and at complete peace before they die. They certainly didn't offer that to their victims.

For those who deliberately inflicted burn injuries on another person, whether thermal or chemical, eye for an eye is the only way in my mind. What kind of a fucked up piece of shit someone has to be to do that?
