Are both political parties ignoring the Supreme Court

The Supreme's ruled against the Biden administration on student loans, yet the administration is still forgiving many of those loans.

The court also ruled for the administration on removing the barb wire fencing at the Texas border, but Texas is still putting more barbed wire on the border.

Reminds me of a supposed Andrew Jackson quote when he disagreed with a Supreme Court decision. "John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it!".
No. Biden's limited debt cancellations adhere to existing federal programs. Only Texas is playing the "laws for thee but not for mee" game.
The cancellations have come through existing federal student loan forgiveness programs, which are limited to specific categories of borrowers, such as public-sector workers, people defrauded by for-profit colleges, and borrowers who have paid for at least 20 years.

These programs are separate from the rejected forgiveness plan, which would have canceled about $430 billion of the $1.6 trillion of outstanding federal student loan debt all at one time.
Speaking of Texas, how exactly does one go from blocking help to two drowning children and their mother on a Friday (yes, they died), to praising Jesus in Church on Sunday??
@eli1601 So you think it's possible to say; that's the only inference.

BTW, thanks for ceding the point about Biden obeying SCOTUS regarding student debt cancellation.

@ElwoodBlues Impossible to say, by definition, means what comes after is opinion.
@eli1601 Which means the main clause of the statement "It is impossible to say ..." must be true.

BTW, isn't it funny how often the "choose life" party condemns others to death? isn't it funny how parts of Texas impose a $500 fine for feeding the homeless? Isn't it funny how often the "I follow Jesus" party tries to starve the hungry, reject the stranger, and leave the homeless exposed to die?

The Supreme Court decision allows Federal Agents to cut the wire, but it does not prohibit Texas from putting out more.

@jamie79
the walls you speak of when Reagan said “tear down this wall” were meant to keep people inside and if they dared tried to get out they were killed. That’s a huge difference from trying to keep criminals from trying to enter your country. A country without borders is not a country. I applaud my Governor.
Your governor is damn lucky he is dealing with biden instead of someone with some guts.

@Diotrephes i am damn lucky my Governor has guts. So if we empty Wyoming and disperse their population to all the other states that means an increase of 10,000 for all. Fill Wyoming with all the known illegals who have entered since 2021 and that makes Wyoming the 7th most populated state in the country. You’re ok with that?

Tyranny abound….

@eli1601 Have you forgotten how Eisenhower handled Faubus in the school integration issue? He sent army troops to Little Rock with rifles and bayonets to show Faubus to shut the F___ up.
