Prison...going straight

I have admitted and want to come clean, in the past I've been to prison but really want to go straight and avoid going back.

The trouble is the people I was involved with are always asking me to do one more job. This is the last one they tell me and then they will leave me alone.

Well you can bet that once you give in to that once you end up doing more...then getting caught.

I've been out for at least 5 months now and don't want to go back.

But they are asking me again to help them out and claim that I owe it to them.

I am 52 and have spent TEN whole years of my life in prison. I don't want to spend any more of it.

To people who harass OP for not just ignoring his old criminal friends. They aren't giving him a choice. They ask but what that means is they threaten him to do their dirty job. They don't take no for an answer.

OP leaving town is what I would do. It's definitely easier than just waiting for next sentence, that's not a life.

I would rent it out second hand while you get away and look for your new place. Then you sell your old house.
