Prison...going straight

I have admitted and want to come clean, in the past I've been to prison but really want to go straight and avoid going back.

The trouble is the people I was involved with are always asking me to do one more job. This is the last one they tell me and then they will leave me alone.

Well you can bet that once you give in to that once you end up doing more...then getting caught.

I've been out for at least 5 months now and don't want to go back.

But they are asking me again to help them out and claim that I owe it to them.

I am 52 and have spent TEN whole years of my life in prison. I don't want to spend any more of it.

You need a change of environment.
New place to live and work away from where old acquaintances know where to find and hassle you.

If you have a Parole officer talk to them about it.
If not, find a charity that will help re-settle you.
Without knowing where in the world you are i can't advise further.

But a quick search online should throw some answers your way.

@Wol62 Oh I don't know. I know how uncertain life can be if you're looking at a whole new way of life far from everything you've ever known.
But I'd look at the potential positives.
A chance to start over where nobody has you marked as 'one of those guys '.
New job opportunities maybe.
Chance to figure out what new stuff you want to get into.
Maybe there's a college nearby !
A chance to study something that interests you and widens your outlook and maybe increase your social circle !!!
Could be the best decision you ever made !
