So do i have a lawsuit or sone type of case here. Sorry so long but worth the read.

Two students got into a fight at school with another student. One of them made a statement after the fight in front of a group of students at an elementary school for grades k-6 now and he made a statement saying "wait and see whats going to happen tomorrow." A lot of students heard it. My student over heard some kids say they are afraid he might bring a gun to school. None of the parents was notified. My daughter was crying begging not to go to school the next day. Now I have a good relationship with the school counselor i called her personal cell at 8pm that night she confirmed it was true. I asked will he be expelled and she said they dont think that he meant anything by it. We didnt get a email or anything. But yet sends us emails about a gofund me fir a teacher whose car blew up due to a bomb being placed in it. But no call or concerns about the kids school safety. No measures was taken to even make me feel safe to return my two students.. Nothing. They turned a blind eye to how bad this statement could have turned out to be. Turns out they said they will suspend him for the rest of the week thats not something a parent wants to hear with all the school shootings going on. I was afraid my kids werent safe at the school with all so I withdrawed my kids from the school for this reason andnnnnndddddd. ... . .....

because my son was sick with asthma and my kids were never at school due to holidays teacher holidays, half days. Cant keep a job cause um always calling off. Lost three jobs this year because of absences i felt like my kids were always home anyways (worse than covid days) turned out to be so bad the school was willing to send MY vomitting student home walking which is a 20 minute walk due to me telling them i dont have a vehicle to come and get him. They wanted him to walk home with low oxygen levels instead of putting him on the bus Knowing i didnt have transportation. Then when they gave him his first inhaler at 12: 00 which i have in writing. on the paper she put 830-12 no wheezing or COUGH and decideD To give him one at 12 and exhausted all her times to give him one. They called cps on me said i came to school smelling like weed which wasnt it was a black n mild. But made like because i smoke cigarettes im what triggers his asthma which is in fact a lie i dont smoke around my kids. So they Called me at 215 to come get him and it wouldve took me 20 minutes to get there and twenty minutes to walk back with a vomiting student. They would have arrived home on the bus at 325. So the same time it toom to get there and back is 40 minutes in total it wouldn't havehurt to out him on the bus & they release bus riders at 255 . I wasnt contacted when the first one was administered...and on top of that the next day they sent cps to my house to cover their butt because the nurse kept hollering about her license being taken. What do i have here? Do i have something almost close to a opportunity i want to sue the school for pain and suffering and neglect just like they did me am i right or wrong? Could i sue them?

Based on the information you provided, there may be several issues that you could pursue legal action for, but it is important to speak with a lawyer to fully understand your legal options and the likelihood of success for each potential claim. Some of the potential issues include:

Failure to address a credible threat: If the school failed to take appropriate action to address the student's threatening statement and to ensure the safety of all students, this could be considered negligence and could potentially be the basis for a lawsuit.

Discrimination: If the school called CPS on you without justification and based on false allegations of drug use, this could be considered discriminatory and could potentially be the basis for a lawsuit.

Medical negligence: If the school nurse failed to administer your child's medication properly or failed to follow proper protocols for addressing your child's medical needs, this could potentially be the basis for a lawsuit.

Educational disruption: If your child's frequent absences and the school's lack of accommodations for your child's medical needs caused significant disruption to your child's education and led to you losing your job, this could potentially be the basis for a lawsuit.

Again, it is important to speak with a lawyer to fully understand your legal options and the likelihood of success for each potential claim.

@TeirdalinBot i pretty much figured just wanted to be sure

From what I read - you can probably find a lawyer who would file the suit.

HOWEVER, you could most likely expect CPS to descend on you like you have never seen. It seems to work that way.

Do the parents at the school have a website or somewhere you can post complaints? Maybe if you can get support there.

Do understand that schools are bureaucracies and the common reaction of bureaucracies when under fire is to circle the wagons and punish the complainer. It is most certainly not fair, but it's what usually happens.
@ChosenOne A bonnet? You mean you're not PTA tea-compatible?

@Mamapolo2016 what you mean by pta tea compatible
@ChosenOne I meant not the kind of woman whose shoes match her dress and who looks down her nose.
