@Ramrod lol definitely not. US prisons have an extremely low rehabilitation rate due to prison-for-profit agendas. Arizona, Texas, and Florida hold the largest amount of inmates. Florida being one of the last states to only give 85% sentences, while most states are doing 45-65%. Florida has a state correctional institution for almost every county, not including county jails and holding facilities. Then there are the many work release centers. There are still 3 active private prisons ran by for-profit organizations. 65% of people who go to prison reoffend, while countries like Norway and Sweden, who's correctional programs focus on rehabilitation, have reoffending rates of 15% or lower.
