according to a quick google search, the bill was amended to include an age requirement https://www.wbbjtv.com/2022/04/06/controversial-bill-amended-to-have-age-requirement/
@DymondHed alright, i googled it. And although they amended the proposed bill, the initial intent was to allow marriage at any age. In my mind, that was leatherwoods intent.
