I own many firearms, And I can tell You, There is a 99.9% chance I'm never going to shoot anyone, Except maybe the fool stupid enough to break into My house while I'm home !

Gun control is why mass shootings on this scale is an exclusively American problem. Because in the US even basic background checks are functionally optional.


And just because you think you are sane doesn't mean everyone else in the US is.

Oh and statistically you are way more likely to shoot yourself or your wife with your guns than some imaginary intruder.
