@metaldog I'm 57. My parents were born in the early 1930s.
I'm considered Gen X. I'm not proud of how my generation has run the world. I acknowledge every generation has it's major shortcomings but I'm particularly annoyed at how my generation refuses to acknowledge the problems they create. Case in point they filled the country with assault rifles and the answer to rampant gun violence is more guns. When I was growing up there weren't assault rifles everywhere. Hunting rifles of course because people hunt. Hand guns of course because some people like to keep protection in their homes.
What do you do with assault rifles?

@robingoodfellow Gen X definitely went way off the rails at some point. So much for stuff like the Battle for Seattle that inspired me as a teen in high school and made me realize real change was not about showing up once every 4 years.
