@windinhishair If you’re actually worried about dead kids why aren’t you taking steps to remove the democrats from Chicago where the equivalent of a sandy hook or a uvalde happens every month.

Of course the majority of those kids are black so they don’t matter to lefttards.

@redredred Many of those guns flow in from Indiana, where lax Republican gun laws encourage free access.

Addressing poverty is the best way to reduce inner city crime. But Republicans always vote against anything that would help address that problem. And they certainly aren't going to do anything about easy access to weapons of mass killing.

@windinhishair tbh, Both sides are guilty in this, neither of them has done anything to prevent the massacre of children happening now. Though it might be unpopular and won't be easy, something does have to be done soonest. It will take courage on the part of someone to stand up and say STOP! No matter which party they are from, does no one care what is happening? If you read the text of my OP carefully, I wasn't trying to assign blame, simply showing that someone is trying to do something and Eric Swalwell is right in what he says here.

@redredred More whataboutism from you, is that all you have? are you an adult, a parent? It doesn't matter what the skin colour of the children is nor where they live, most of the kids in Uvalde were of Mexican descent and they were murdered too, this has nothing to do with skin colour ffs.

@spjennifer Democrats have passed legislation at the House level many times, but Republicans always obstruct it in the Senate.
