I'm pro-gun, but I think they should have background checks and mental health evaluations.
You can be pro-gun and want gun control. Most members of the NRA do.

They already have background checks. I don’t know if they have mental evaluations. @BohemianBabe

@Carissimi Technically they do, but there are so many cases where you can legally get a gun without a background check. The most well-known is the "gun show loophole" but there are plenty more. We need to make it so the only way to get a gun involves a background check.
