20 people shot near Milwaukee arena following Celtics playoff game

Milwaukee police say 20 people were injured in two separate shootings near Fiserv Forum, where the Boston Celtics played the Milwaukee Bucks.

Investigators said 17 people, ranging in age from 15 to 47, were wounded in a mass shooting near the intersection of Water Street and Juneau Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. central time. All of the shooting victims are expected to survive.

Video shot from outside the Fiserv Forum by a WISN anchor showed people running down the street outside the arena at about 9:30 p.m. central time, which is about the time the Bucks-Celtics game ended.

A lot of these arenas and stadiums are smack dab in the middle of the hood so it’s not a big shocker.

@SW-User Plenty of white people shooting too; Sandy Hook, Las Vegas 2017, Columbine CO, all white as could be. Easy availability of guns is the problem.

@badminton carrying out those types of killings requires a lot of planning, logistics , and future time orientation .
Those were not random “crimes of passion “ as district attorneys like to say before letting killers off the hook .
And we seriously need gun reform .

@badminton Guns were even more readily available 50+ years ago. Yeah, there were tragedies involving firearms. Just like tragedies involving alcohol+driving (as today). None like any of those incidents you mentioned happened. What's changed? You're in my age group, you should see the obvious, right? Hint: It has nothing to do with guns.
