Pretty sure if all court rulings ended up like this, there'd be less mass shootings

There was no hesitation when they took those lives. Why shouldn't the rulings be any different?

I think life imprisonment would be a bigger punishment.
A waste of tax payer dollars but I suppose there is some merit in your opinion @SW-User

@DrScissorhands end it now or live the next 60 years in a 10x12 concrete cage worrying about your life. Im willing to pay for that

@DrScissorhands actually, it costs more to keep a prisoner on death row, with the cost of appeals than it does for a life sentence.
My two cents. Worth...two cents.

@Carla doesn’t it cost like 700 grand to execute somebody?
Carla · 61-69, F
@SW-User not certain. But if you look into the cost differences between life sentences and execution, you will see how much more the latter costs. From prosecution through the execution, the costs are staggering.
Death penalty cases alone are like twice the cost as seeking life sentences.

@Carla and half the suffering. Life sentence with the possibility of parole gives hope. Life on death row means you’re grasping at straws no?
