1. Guns have nothing to do with gun deaths.

2. Our thoughts and prayers go to the dead people's families.

3. Now is not the time to discuss gun control.

4. Our Second Amendment rights to own any weapon for any purpose and carry it anywhere, including church, shall not be infringed.

@NerdyPotato There never is an appropriate time. Little children can be gunned down en mass in school. A mad man high in a hotel in Las Vegas can shoot more than 500 people with his Second Amendment Fetish Arsenal, but it doesn't matter. No time is right for them to consider even the meekest gun control law.

@windinhishair Maybe, just maybe if one of the politicians was gunned down or a family member, like McConnell, etc, they might do something about gun control. I doubt even then anything would be done.
