How many mass shootings?

Would force a change in our society? (USA)
What if it becomes once weekly or every other day.Could this be the new normal? Will we accept this?

If Sandy Hook couldn't force a change then I don't know what will.

@InOtterWords @bijouxbroussard A toddler is fighting for their life right now after being shot in the face. This is the country that we live in. Gun nuts accept this because they love their guns more than people, and more than life itself.

@InOtterWords sandyhook could have forced a change-- show the pictures of where those babies lay dead--- that would of changed the game--- BUT!! what do you think would happen if the images of a fully developed fetus being sucked apart were shown-- what would that do for the pro-choice side... It's all political positioning

@windinhishair no,
you're wrong
You just don't understand and it's easier for you to call all "gun nuts" as blame and degrade those who are not responsible for this crime,
than it is to do the hard thinking as to how we got to the point now that this happens at all!

Guns have been around for centuries,
So, why NOW are mentally deranged people using them in such an antisocial destructive way? Is it because they are evil Republicans or because they're lost fucking souls who were screwed g screwed up by All of modern society's ills.

If you take away guns that won't solve shit! Look what good harsh gun laws have done in Detroit, LA, Chicago, Atlanta, DC, & New York.... Nothing except remove access from law abiding persons whilst lawlessness continues and felons can get guns in 10 minutes!
@GERRI gun control and abortion are two separate issues, so not confuse them.
But 3 children a day die from gunshots

@Th1nkF1rst guns are around in other countries, why is it only the USA that has an issue with shootings.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Th1nkF1rst Confiscation of guns isn't the solution, nor is is what is proposed. But certain types of weapons, designed with the sole purpose of killing large numbers of people quickly, have no place in the hands of citizens. We had a ban on them before, and it worked. We need to do it again, and do universal background checks, along with more red flag laws. We'll never do away with mass killings completely, but we can certainly reduce them significantly.
