@SapphicHeart My wife is Jewish. When we went to Washington, DC back in May, 2012, she wanted to go see some famous synagogue. What I found odd was that there was an armed security officer in that synagogue back then. Sadly, this may become the norm for a lot of large religious centers.

Unfortunately it's how it looks with all those weapons available to civilians. Although, more firearms won't make the shootings any less.
