and you can buy either at a gun show,,, why would you want people to give up their second amendment right ? If anyone wants a gun they will just have to purchase them on the black market.. What you think everyone buys them legally ?

@ChatterinSeuss Australia got rid of guns and there hasn't been a mass shooting since. maybe that says says more about Americans than you think. are Americans inherently violent?

@TexChik the right to bare arms stems from the need to prevent a tyrant government from taking over and ending the democracy by allowing the people to take up arms against such tyrants. We have guns. Government has tanks drones and missiles. We've lost that arms race

@NeloAngelo the right to [b]bear[/b] arms is also one that the military has sworn to uphold . You blindly believe soldiers are going to fire on their own families because a tyrant ordered it ?

@TexChik most likely not. I'd hope the military would oppose such a tyrant. I'd rather the trained army have the weapons not us.
